Bowie’s Piano Man: Mike Garson & Judith Hill

The internationally revered pianist Mike Garson was David Bowie’s longest-serving and most frequently appearing band member. They performed together for both Bowie’s first and last concerts in the U.S. as well as 600 concerts around the globe. Garson has also performed & recorded with artists such as The Smashing Pumpkins, Nine Inch Nails, Andra Day, St. Vincent, etc.

GRAMMY-winning soul singer/songwriter Judith Hill has shared her musical gifts in a variety of ways. The Los Angeles native has been a background singer for such legends as Stevie Wonder, Ringo Starr, and the late Michael Jackson, serving as the latter’s duet partner on the classic ballad, “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You,” which later became a highlight of Jackson’s posthumously released film, This Is It. She is well known for her incredible guitar playing and collaboration with the late Prince. She also appeared in the Oscar-winning documentary 20 Feet From Stardom, which earned her a GRAMMY for Best Music Film.
